About   the   picture
Driving home from a professional shoot, this beautiful sunset was screaming out to me. Being in the middle of suburbia at the time, I couldn’t find anywhere to get a shot without buildings or powerlines or some crap in the shot.
I’ve always had a fascination with electricity power pylons as they always make me think of giant robots roaming the land, towering above us all. Running out of time, I decided to make them a feature and silhouette them against the setting Sun.
I really like the contrast between the two. These giant monuments that are testaments to our own brilliance of the power we have learned to harness, set against the ultimate power of our Solar system, the Sun.
