Anyone who knows Ballarat, knows that it can be a cold and wintery place. This was one such morning. Thermostat touching on zero, small bitey rain and an icy fog that chilled the soul. Lake Wendouree had an air of solitude and loneliness draped over her frigid waters. There were only two souls to witness the moment, myself behind the lens and a lone seagull perched on a jetty post.
